Dangerous Driving

There are so many people that are licenced to drive on British roads that simply cannot drive or drive too dangerously. I cannot understand why someone would put not only their but other road users (including pedestrians) life's at risk?? I mean, what it the fascination is risking your own, or indeed someone else's life for simply driving faster or more recklessly?? I have never got the addiction, or the buzz to as to what anyone would get out of it...

A recent case. a member of Parliament Lord Ahmed sent and received five text while he was driving in the dark hours at or above 70mph was astonishing. It just shows the hypocrisy; the very people that promote this 'legal, safe driving' sabotage the very idea of people obeying these rules themselves.

Although as Lord Ahmed's solicitor said, i do believe he is being used as a scapegoat, their trying to use him as an example, the right way to go about it??

Can anyone shed any light?
